We’re looking for a full time housekeeper for a substantial property in Knightsbridge. / The nearest station is Knightsbridge or South Kensington
The role is full time, five days a week, nine hours a day on a rota system.
The client is an UHNW lady with two teenage children, two dogs and a very busy life. She demands the highest standards, privacy and happy smiley people. She likes positive energy.
The house is not formal, however very, very high standards are kept.
The role includes all general house keeping duties, laundry, simple breakfast prep, very occasional cooking would be a bonus (although we have a chef). We are looking for someone with great experience at this level who can hit the ground running. A proven track record across multiple properties is a must.
The house is fully staffed with three housekeepers, head housekeeper, chef, drivers, security, maintenance and house manager. We muck in as a team and get the job done. We have a great positive core team and all get along really well.
We’re really looking for a great housekeeper, so we are willing to go higher in salary – right up to £50k for the right candidate, however, to achieve this top salary they must be truly top of their game. More realistically, we’d pay £40+ something, for a solid housekeeper with good all round skills and the right can do attitude, who is prepared to learn skills when needed, and can show that they enjoy being part of a team
Note. The house does provide service throughout the day, so there is a shift system in place, 5 shifts per week (2 days off per week) each shift is 9 hours, weekends are shared, first shift starts at about 08:00, while the last shift starts at about 13:00 and finishes at 22:00. (Just occasionally there might be a 06:30 start)
The client loves staff who can show longevity and some nice work experience gathered in respected households and some deluxe hotel experience may be useful too
